The support unit at Warrawong High School provides many opportunities for students to reach their potential. One such opportunity involved 10 students and 2 of our teachers, who hiked from Otford to Bundeena, camping along the way for 3 days and 2 nights.
The first night of the camp was spent at North Era, with the students taking in the picturesque sights of the coastal walk. The second day proved a challenging endeavour, with a 9 hour hike to Bonnievale. The students showed great resilience and spirit to complete this section of the hike, and were very glad to reach their destination.
A very successful hiking adventure was had by all, and our teachers; Mr. Steig Nordstrom and Miss Megan Cutajar were impressed with the effort of the students.
